SUMMARY:  Are you a dynamic individual interested in and excited about arts administration and training?  The CFC launches Canada’s most creative ideas and voices in film, television and new media to the world and we are looking for a Programs Assistant to join our team. 

The Programs Assistant plays an important role in supporting the Director of the CFC Film & TV Department and the Manager of Outreach Programs by helping to facilitate the day-to-day activities of the TV, Actors Conservatory and Outreach programs. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinating the application process for the Telefilm Canada Features Comedy Lab, NBC Universal Creative Content Program, GO WEST Project Lab, UK/Canada Co-Pro Program and the Actors Conservatory under the guidance of the Manager of Outreach Programs.
• Coordinating the day-to-day administrative activities of these various programs, including coordinating the various schedules, all guest logistics, space/facility and technical bookings. 
• Maintaining accurate and up to date files & archiving for industry & alumni databases and tracking of program related donations. 
• Work closely with the Manager of Outreach and the Marketing department to ensure website is regularly updated to reflect these Program activities. 
• Providing additional programs support as required by the Director of CFC Film & TV Department and /or Manager of Outreach Programs

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, time & project management skills
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work within a fast paced team and creative environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel.
• Basic knowledge of the Canadian entertainment/arts industry is a definite asset.
