Participants of the 2011 CFC Short Dramatic Film Program displayed their hard work with the Toronto premieres of PARKDALE, OLIVER BUMP'S BIRTHDAY, SILENT CARGO and THE SECRET OF GOAT. The screening was held in front of a packed theatre at Cineplex Varsity and VIP Cinemas, with a reception that followed at Empire Lounge.

The premiere also played host to Playback’s Annual CFC Payback Awards. The Payback awards seek to recognize volunteers who have gone above and beyond to help the CFC execute its mandate to foster film, TV and media training and education in Canada. Congratulations to: Kyle Purcell, Ruth Secord, Jeffery Hanes and Darcy Arthurs. 
 
CFC also hosted a screening in Vancouver on June 29, where producers Jessica Cheung (Oliver Bump's Birthday) and Lauren Grant (Parkdale) were present to introduce the films!
