Hope writes for television, screen and theatre.
After completing the Canadian Film Centre’s screenwriting lab, Hope worked as a punch-up writer on Brad Peyton’s adult animation, What It’s Like Being Alone (CBC). Recently, she’s worked as both a story editor and contributing writer on the Baroness Von Sketch Show (CBC). Two of Hope’s screenplays have been optioned and she is developing two new feature-length projects. Hope’s plays, largely produced at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in Toronto, have also been performed in Vancouver and Los Angeles. Her play, Trapped! was included in the Playwrights Canada 2017 anthology, Queer Play. A devoted fan of 1950s pulp, crime and noir fiction, Hope co-hosts the long-running reading series, Noir At The Bar.
