Matt Code is a producer for award-winning film, television and digital content. His notable credits include RANDOM ACTS OF VIOLENCE starring Jay Baruchel, Jordana Brewster and Jesse Williams; SHARE, the Sundance award-wining debut for Pippa Bianco from A24; and the award-winning MARY GOES ROUND, the first feature from writer/director, Molly McGlynn. Mary Goes Round had its world premiere at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. In association with Murmur Media, Code has also produced the feature documentary WHAT WALAA WANTS which premiered at the 2018 Berlin International Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize at Hot Docs. Code regularly serves as a line producer or production manager on domestic and foreign productions shooting in Canada, including Sony Picture’s SXSW-premiere, RUN THIS TOWN starring Nina Dobrev, Ben Platt and Damian Lewis, and TIFF-premiered DISAPPEARANCE AT CLIFTON HILL starring Tuppence Middleton. As Executive Producer Code has supported emerging Directors in films such as FIRECRACKERS, Jasmin Mozaffari’s TIFF-debut; and EASY LAND, Sanja Zivkovic’s TIFF-debut. Code is founder and partner in Wildling Pictures with fellow producer, Kristy Neville. He is a graduate of the Canadian Film Center, Producers’ Lab; the Berlinale Talent Lab; and holds a BAH in Film and Media and Political Studies from Queen’s University. Code has juried for multiple film festivals and awards, is a member of the Canadian Media Producers Association and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.
