Ken’s credits have crossed the genres; from the drama of 24, the high-camp of Xena Warrior Princess, to the black comedy of Rescue Me. He’s shot well over 100 episodes for television, four television movies and a feature film. He has been nominated for multiple Geminis and was honoured with a Directors Guild Award for the television movie, MAYERTHORPE. Recently Ken directed the pilots Sabbatical, The Dealership, Cra$h & Burn, and the MOW BEFRIEND & BETRAY. South of the border, along with Rescue Me, Ken’s work includes Lights Out (FX Networks), Law & Order Criminal Intent (NBC), New Amsterdam (FOX), episodes of the CBS series 3lbs, and various series for USA Network.Ken has many projects in development including the screen adaptation of a novel by a Mann-Booker Prize winning novelist. He is also in partnership to bring a series of international crime/thriller novels to television. His travels have taken him to New Zealand, South Africa, South-East Asia, Sri Lanka, India and various countries in Latin America. Ken continues to travel frequently to Spain, a country for which he has had a long standing affinity.
He lives in Toronto with his wife, the actress Wendy Lyon, and their son, Erik.
