Alumni Films Head to Santa Barbara, Sundance and Slamdance this January

Look out for the following alumni films are playing at various festivals this January:

Catch the following alumni films at Sundance, which runs from January 23 to February 2:

  • Randall Okita’s interactive piece The Book of Distance (part of the New Frontier Lineup), which features music by Joseph Murray and Lodewijk Vos
  • Possessor, edited by Matthew Hannam
  • Hey Lady, co-directed and executive produced by Sarah Polley
  • Falling, produced by Daniel Bekerman
  • The Nest, edited by Matthew Hannam
  • Hot Flash, produced by Matt Code, with music by Neil Haverty, starring Grace Glowicki
  • Lichen, written and directed by Lisa Jackson

Slamdance Film Festival

  • The 410 “Episode Two”, directed by Renuka Jeyapalan, written by and starring Supinder Wraich, edited by Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux and featuring actor Jade Hassouné, is headed to the 2020 Slamdance Film Festival, which runs from January 24 to 30
  • Festivalgoers can also catch Actors Conservatory alumnus Jesse LaVercombe in Chubby, screening in the Narrative Shorts lineup
