CFC’s Response to COVID-19

Posted: Mar 16, 2020

We are all currently navigating unprecedented and uncertain times. For us at the CFC, the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, residents and entertainment community members who frequent our offices is our top priority. As a result, the CFC offices will remain closed until further notice. We are committed to doing our part to help flatten the curve of COVID-19 transmissions. We will continue to closely monitor the latest news and updates on COVID-19 from Toronto Public Health and provincial and federal authorities, and will determine if any additional measures need to be taken as the situation evolves.

Our dedicated staff will continue to work from home during this time, and we will carry on with business as usual to the best of our abilities as we navigate this situation. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with a CFC staff member via email. Please note that during this time, our social media presence may be reduced.

In this time of uncertainty, it is important that we stand together as a community and support one another. We stand with our fellow arts and entertainment organizations, and the many creatives behind them, who have seen their events cancelled or postponed and their business altered. We remain committed to championing our alumni and Canadian content, and encourage you to watch your favourite Canadian films and TV and web series from home, as everyone assumes a crucial period of social distancing in order to reduce COVID-19 transmissions.

Take care of yourselves and each other.
