Alumni Films in the 2014 Vancouver International Film Festival

Sitting on the Edge of Marlene

CFC is proud to announce that 10 alumni films will be screening in this year’s Vancouver International Film Festival. Among these films is CFC’s own short film, WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU, which received an honourable mention at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. VIFF runs from September 25 to October 10, 2014 and features a wide range of talent from our alumni.

Sitting on the Edge of Marlene is currently up for three awards: Best Canadian Feature, BC Emerging Director and Best BC Film. In June 2014, Valine received the Leo Award for Best Direction of a Motion Picture.
