Alumni Film "Eadweard" Leads 2015 Leo Awards Nominations

The nominees for the 2015 Leo Awards were announced on Monday, May 11, 2015. Now in its sixteenth year, the Leo Awards continue to celebrate excellence in British Columbia film and television and the 2015 nominations showcase an incredible amount of talent that has come out of the Canadian Film Centre.

This year, CFC is proud to congratulate all alumni who have been nominated, and a special congratulations goes out to alumni film Eadweard, which received an overwhelming 15 nominations.

Eadweard is a psychological drama centered around world-famous turn-of-the-century photographer, Eadweard Muybridge who photographed nude and deformed subjects, became the godfather of cinema, murdered his wife’s lover, and was the last American to receive the justifiable homicide verdict.

  • Greg Ng (Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever)

Best Best Dramatic Series

Best Feature Length Documentary Program

Best Best Overall Sound in a Documentary Program or Series

  • Greg Ng (The Backward Class)

Best Music Video

The 2015 Leo Awards will take place over two consecutive weekends, with the Awards Ceremony beginning on Saturday, June 6, 2015 and continuing on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, 2015. Ticketing details have not yet been released.
