CFC Alumni Named in Film Line-ups and Project Labs for TIFF '11

Thirteen films with CFC alumni working behind and in front of the camera have been added to the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival lineup! Many of these films will be making their World Premiere (WP) at the festival.

Participating in the Rising Stars Program, a new initiative this year, are Sarah Allen ('09) and Keon Mohajeri ('10).

Participating in the Talent Lab are Jordan Canning ('10) and Nadia Litz ('09)

Vying for the $10,000 prize of Telefilm Canada's PITCH THIS! are John Christou ('11), with Breaking the Band, and Lynne Kam ('05) and Marc Almon ('08) with Pinweight.

Announced as participants in the OMDC Producers Lab were Alison Reid ('94) and Cher Hawrysh ('05).

CFC would also like to congratulate mentor Don Carmody, who serves as producer on BREAKAWAY and GOON, which will both being having their World Premieres in the Special Presentations category.
