CFC Alumni at 2011 WGC Awards

The Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Awards were handed out on Monday, April 11. Congratulations to CFC alumni Tassie Cameron ('99) and Denise Blinn ('04) on their wins!

Cameron took home the WGC Showrunner Award honoring her outstanding talent and leadership in Canadian television.

Blinn was awarded the Jim Burt Screenwriting Prize for her script, “1936.” The award recognizes Canadian new talent in the genre of long form dramatic writing.
