The Patrick Spence-Thomas Scholarship Fund was created in fond memory of the legendary sound engineer Patrick Spence-Thomas, who recorded for the CBC, This Hour Has Seven Days, and many feature films from the 1970s to the early 1990s. Supporting this fund gives a CFC resident the opportunity to expand their skills in film, television and new media, while celebrating the memory of Toronto’s Patrick Spence-Thomas, whose influence forever changed the film and television industry.
