CUTTING EDGE PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE

CFC is one of the only institutions to offer production-based training activities where participants do not just develop, but actually create a real body of work. From short films and features, to TV pilots and new media prototypes, CFC residents are regularly immersed in a thorough production experience.  CFC Short Dramatic Film Program has produced over 130 critically acclaimed short films to date and CFC Feature Film Project boasts an impressive 38 films developed and 17 features produced.  The most recent film to be produced through the FFP is NURSE.FIGHTER.BOY which will be completed in 2008. CFC Media Lab has been experimenting with the interactive narrative form since 1997 and in the past ten years, have produced over 80 prototypes ranging from web-based interactive documentaries to "shuffle videos" - the creation of randomly generated movies on the i-Pod.
