Comweb/Whites Jay Switzer Indigenous Creator Award

Paul Bronfman, Chairmain/CEO of Comweb Corporation/William F. White Int’l and Slawko Klymkiw, CEO of the Canadian Film Centre (CFC), are exceptionally proud to announce the creation of the Jay Switzer Comweb/William F. White Int’l Indigenous Creator Scholarship as a tribute to the late Canadian media figure. Administered through the CFC, the $100,000 award will be distributed over the next 10 years.

DARYL DUKE & WILLIAM VINCE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Daryl Duke and William Vince Scholarships are intended to honour the significant contributions that these individuals have made to BC's film and television industry.

The BC Film Foundation currently offers multiple yearly scholarships to honour the memory and contributions of Daryl Duke and William Vince Scholarship, considered to be two of the founders of BC's film and television industry.

Jordan Christianson Bursary Fund

The family of Jordan Christianson, an alumnus of the CFC’s 2010/2011 TV Writing program, and the Canadian Film Centre (CFC) announced the Jordan Christianson Bursary Fund, a bursary to be awarded to four writers from British Columbia or Alberta invited into the Bell Media Prime Time TV Program
