Luke Toye is a Toronto-based screenwriter. In 2016 he wrote and co-produced three short films, Death & Grieving Men, God & Doubting Women, and Dog Days of Summer, the latter of which he directed. In 2014, Luke’s first short film, Last Patrol, premiered at the New Hampshire Film Festival. Luke is currently developing his feature script, Koshe. The story of an observant Jew who, when blackmailed for a large sum of money, formulates a plan to grow and sell kosher weed to his local Jewish community.
