Marni Van Dyk
Marni Van Dyk is a writer, producer, and performer. Her short film I Am Not A Weird Person (dir. Molly McGlynn), was featured on HelloGiggles, programmed by Jill Soloway on wifey.tv, and described by Lena Dunham as “a haunting little short”. Most recently, she wrote the WE DAY broadcast for CBS. Marni has worked as an Associate Producer on Match Game (Comedy), and served as a Story, Digital, and Development Producer on various properties for Bristow Global Media. She co-founded the award-winning all-female sketch comedy group, She Said What. Marni is a recipient of the 2017 Corus Writer's Apprenticeship at the Banff World Media Festival, and is currently developing her first feature length screenplay in the Writer’s Lab at the Canadian Film Centre. She strongly identifies as a dog person, and is a staunch advocate for high-waisted pants.
