THE DARK HOURS producer Brent Barclay (’99) has been involved with a number of successful feature films as producer or associate producer, including, the hit film HOW SHE MOVE.

 

THE DARK HOURS director Paul Fox (’97) on the strength of the success of THE DARK HOURS directed EVERYTHING’S GONE GREEN, from a screenplay by Douglas Coupland.

 

BLOOD & DONUTS writer Andrew Rai Berzins (’93) is a successful writer on both the big and small screens, including NORTH OF 60, COLD SQUAD, and Sturla Gunnarsson’s feature film BEOWULF AND GRENDEL.

 

BLOOD & DONUTS director Holly Dale (’88) is a sought-after television director in Canada and the U.S. Her work on television includes, FLASHPOINT, HEROES, COLD CASE, TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNER CHRONICLES

BLOOD & DONUTS producer Steve Hoban (’92) through his production company Copperheart Entertainment has produced a number of successful films, including, the Academy Award-winning animated short film RYAN, the GINGER SNAPS series and YOUNG PEOPLE F*KING

19 MONTHS writer/director Randall Cole (’98) wrote and directed the comedy REAL TIME starring Jay Baruchel and Randy Quaid, as well as the thriller 388 ARLETTA AVENUE, starring Nick Stahl and Mia Kirshner, which had its World Premiere at TIFF '11.

  

THE UNCLES producer Nick DePencier (’97) produced the festival audience and critical hit, ONE WEEK. In addition, De Pencier has produced a number of award-winning documentaries including MANUFACTURED LANDSCAPES.

    

RUDE co-producer Karen King (’92), in addition to producing a number of award-winning documentaries, is currently the Production Executive of Original Dramatic Programming at Canwest Broadcasting.

 

RUDE co-producer Damon D’Oliveira (’91) through his production company Conquering Lion Pictures continues to produce feature films for filmmakers like Clement Virgo (LIE WITH ME, POOR BOY’S GAME) and John Greyson (LAW OF ENCLOSURES and PROTEUS).

 

RUDE writer/Director Clement Virgo (’93) continues to be one of Canada’s foremost writer/directors. His work after RUDE includes, LOVE COME DOWN, LIE WITH ME and POOR BOY’S GAME.

 

HOUSE co-writer/director Laurie Lynd (’92) is a successful director for television and film, including 2007’s feature film BREAKFAST WITH SCOT.

 

HOUSE co-writer Daniel MacIvor (’94), acts, writes, and directs for the stage and screen. In 2008 MacIvor won the esteemed Siminovitch prize, Canada’s top theatre award.

 

CUBE co-writer Graeme Manson (’95) is one of Canada’s best television writers having written the acclaimed television movies, LUCKY GIRL and CRAZY CANUCKS.

  

CUBE co-writer/director Vincenzo Natali (’96), on the strength of his internationally successful CFC Features film, has directed a number of high profile films in Canada and Hollywood, including the acclaimed SPLICE with Sarah Polley and Adrian Brody.

 

SHOEMAKER director Colleen Murphy (’95), in addition to her work in film, is a Governor-General Award winning playwright.

 

SHOEMAKER producer Elizabeth Yake (’94) is the President of True West Films, through which she has produced a number of high profile films including IT’S ALL GONE PETE TONG, and EVERYTHING’S GONE GREEN.

 

SIBLINGS director David Weaver (’04) recently directed one segment of the festival hit anthology film TORONTO STORIES.

 

NURSE.FIGHTER.BOY co-writer/director Charles Officer (’02), in addition to being a talented young director, recently played the lead role of Walter Lee Younger in Soulpepper’s production of A RAISIN IN THE SUN.

   

NURSE.FIGHTER.BOY co-writer/producer Ingrid Veninger (’00) was also the co-writer/co-producer/co-director of ONLY, a film also invited to TIFF 2008 and more recently her solo directing debut MODRA (which she also wrote and produced) had its World Premiere at TIFF 2010. Veninger's latest feature i am a good person/i am a bad person (which she directed, produced, wrote and starred in) is currently making the rounds on the festival circuit.
