Karen Walton's GINGER SNAPS not only spawned a teen girl werewolf trilogy, but has inspired a new generation of horror filmmakers in Canada. Her produced writing credits include THE MANY TRIALS OF ONE JANE DOE, THE MARILYNN BELL STORY. She is currently adapting THE PORNOGRAPHER'S POEM and is co-writing the Columbia project BILLY GRIMM with Brad Peyton.
Tassie Cameron's feature script developed through the CFC CAKE was produced by alumna producer Miranda de Pencier starring Heather Graham and Taye Diggs. She is currently adapting Atwood's ROBBER BRIDE for alumna Executive Producer Christina Jennings.
Tricia Fish's NEW WATERFORD GIRL was developed through the CFC and produced by alumna producer Jennifer Kawaja of Sienna Films becoming a box office hit here in Canada.
Wil Zmak's collaboration with alumni Paul Fox and Brent Barclay resulted in the CFC's psychological horror feature THE DARK HOURS.
