Curriculum

Feature Development
Writers develop their feature projects through a rigorous and highly productive series of individual and group story editing sessions, rewriting assignments, and actor table reads. Writers are constantly turning around written material with ongoing guidance from the Story Editor in Residence in order to leave with at least two fully work-shopped feature scripts, and an expanded slate of projects to be further developed.

Workshops
A series of creative workshops and business sessions with key industry players offer exclusive access to detailed information about screenwriting, and the business of development and production. Sessions provide insight into a variety of working relationships, expand their critical feedback skills and abilities, and inform writers on how to advance their ideas and projects.

Production Exercises
Practical and rigorous production exercises increase your cinematic sensibilities, provide you with a first hand script-to-screen process and exercise your collaborative skills. They are geared towards mastering the short form, but also put into play the same challenges inherent in making a feature often drawing parallels between the writer's approach to the short exercises and their feature aspirations.
