SHELAGH CARTER, DIRECTOR

Shelagh Carter lives and works in Winnipeg, New York City, and recently Los Angeles. She is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio (NYC; LA); an associate professor of Theatre and Film at The University of Winnipeg and a recent graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Directors’ Lab.

Geordie Sabbagh has worked in all mediums of entertainment including film, TV, radio and new media for some of the most innovative companies in the world including the BBC, Canwest and Discovery. He recently founded his own production company and has a number of television and film projects in development.

Heidi Tao Yang has produced over nine short films, including P.M.O.. At ThinkFILM, she contributed to the delivery and marketing of over 350 titles to Entertainment One.  She is currently developing the absurd comedy THE GREAT BATTLE FOR TOMORROW, and the animated comedy TV Series, LOST AND FOUND INC..

Celery Kovinsky is a screenwriter, story editor and producer. Trained in academic philosophy, and a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre, she is equally at home writing comedy, drama and the good stuff in between. An advocate for animals and the environment, Celery has a strong interest in documentary film.

Katie Chipperfield is passionate about storytelling.  In 2005 she edited THE MOMENT, an award-winning documentary. Since this time, she has pursued her love for the art of editing and assisted on two nationally broadcast series.   Katie has recently completed the Canadian Film Centers’ Cineplex Entertainment Program Editors’ Lab.
