SYNOPSIS:

A dozen illegal immigrants are smuggled across the ocean in a shipping container.  Their voyage takes longer than expected, leaving the last four clinging to life amongst filth and festering bodies. When the ventilation system fails, they are forced to choose between their humanity and survival.

 THE TEAM

ADAM AZIMOV, DIRECTOR

Adam Azimov is a Montreal-born filmmaker based in Toronto.  He has directed several short films that have played internationally, including THIEF, which toured the festival circuit last fall. Adam has also worked extensively in post-production.  He was an editor at CBC, as well as on several critically acclaimed independent shorts.

SVET ROUSKOV, WRITER

CFC graduate Svet Rouskov is an award-winning screenwriter whose edgy, action-oriented writing has garnered him attention including winning the Expo Screenwriting Competition Science Fiction Prize and selection to the TIFF Talent Lab. Film credits include Writer and Executive Producer for the short film GREEN.

CHRIS BENNETT, PRODUCER

Born in Ireland and raised in Victoria, B.C., Chris moved to Toronto in 2005. Having line produced and production managed several docs and TV series and producing several short films, Chris is currently developing the feature comedy STEGMAN IS DEAD and the feature dramas SOLO and THE DEVIL’S BREATH. 

DAMALI KAI LITTLE-WHITE, PRODUCER

Damali is a Canadian-Jamaican producer with a passion for innovative storytelling. She produced over 30 music videos for acclaimed artists like the Marleys, Gentleman and Michael Franti. Damali associate produced the feature, GLORY TO GLORIANA and over 100 hours of television and commercials for brands like Red Stripe and Nike.

DEV SINGH, EDITOR

Dev is a Toronto-based film editor. He grew up in Calgary, Alberta amongst the mountains and grizzlies, one of which he keeps in his edit suite … just because. He doesn’t see much of the outdoors anymore but swears one day he will. Dev likes to edit movies. And golf. And bears.
