Audrey Cummings, Alumna and winner of the 2008 CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival Jackson-Triggs Award for Best Emerging Canadian Filmmaker for BURGEON AND FADE

Writer/Director Renuka Jeyapalan ('05 ), Producers Anneli Ekborn ('05) & Michael Gelfand ('05), Editor Tiffany Beaudin ('05) created the CFC Short, BIG GIRL - Screened at 25 festivals worldwide including the Berlin International Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival, and a win for Best Short Film at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival. BIG GIRL (pictured at right) also garnered lead actress Samantha Weinstein the 2006 Actra Award for Best Female Performance, making the 11-yr-old the youngest ever to receive the honour.
