This young superstar worked on four of this year’s short films in addition to numerous film production exercises throughout the year. He’s a true Jack of all trades who has worked as a PA, Driver, 3rd AD and Production Manager. Tim always goes above and beyond what's needed. He has that special ability to get on things before anyone even realizes that they need doing. That, combined with his remarkably positive attitude, has made him an indispensable member on our film sets.

Liussy is an extremely reliable and charming script supervisor. In addition to her outstanding work on three of this year’s Short Films, Liussy has been script supervisor on so many CFC productions over the years that even we’ve lost track! Liussy’s wonderful demeanor, relentless energy and passion for filmmaking are just a few of the reasons we consider her to be a valuable member of the CFC’s production family.

LINDA FERGUSON

Linda Ferguson is the Vice President and General Manager of Toronto Film Studios. She is one of the reasons that the production value on our shorts, tv pilots and production exercises have increased significantly in the last 6 years. Not only does TFS supply our filmmakers with amazing spaces to tell their stories, but Linda has created an atmosphere of encouragement and enthusiasm. The CFC’s productions would not be able to pull off what we do without the support of Linda and her wonderful team – Michael Tough, Mike Fletcher, Tom Gifford, Chelsie Saunders and many other TFS staff. Thank you Linda for helping us put great value up on the screen.

RON HANEY

Ron Haney has been CEO & Executive Director of the Directors Guild of Canada Ontario for the last 4 years. A consummate diplomat who is committed to safeguarding the Guild’s interests, Ron is also a champion of emerging talent, of training, and of building strong strategic partnerships. It’s never an easy job to balance 35 different professional categories and over 1500 Ontario based members – all with various needs and concerns, but Ron and his incredible staff including Ann Marie Sluga, Tanya Chapman and Lori Januska manage these challenges with tremendous grace, remaining welcoming, open to innovative ideas and dedicated to building our indigenous industry.
