Tribeca All Access

Tribeca All Access (TAA) supports directors, screenwriters and producers from traditionally under-represented communities in the film industry by serving as a year round networking and career development forum that provides access to industry representatives looking for new projects in development.  Each year, a diverse group of emerging and established filmmakers are selected from an open call for submissions to participate in a series of workshops and panels, before pitching their narrative scripts or documentary works-in progress in a series of one-on-one business meetings with industry executives during the Tribeca Film Festival.

Tribeca All Access promotes the careers and work of those who are traditionally under-represented in mainstream media.  Over the last decade, industry reports have consistently shown a lack of diversity in writing and directing for film and television.  Tribeca All Access seeks to address this void through connections and introductions that may lead to future collaborations.  Over the past seven years, Tribeca All Access has curated a slate of scripts and documentary works-in-progress that have been extremely diverse in terms of genre, style, theme, and budget range. All of the selected projects have also had at least one director and/or screenwriter attached who identified him or herself as African American, Asian American, Latino, Pacific Islander, Arab American or Native American. As of last year, Tribeca All Access has expanded the program to accept applications from women writers and or directors who do not fall into one of the categories above.
