The Bell Media Showrunner Bootcamp is open to applicants from across Canada on a referral basis only. Applicants must be experienced TV writers with significant episodic writing credits including writers who have Co-Executive Producer, Executive Story Editor, Co-Producer or Supervising Producer credits.
Applicants need substantial writing experience in the scripted drama or comedy realm:
- Supervising producer, co-producer, executive story editor, co-executive producer and above
- Solo writing credit on a minimum of 10-15 scripts (freelance and room)
- Some freelance scripts (development and produced)
- Track record of show ideas being optioned by producers and/or broadcasters
Applicants must be nominated by one or more of the following to be eligible to apply:
- Bell Media creative executives
- Established TV executive producers/showrunners
- Literary agent

NOMINATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2011

Complete applications will consist of:
- A letter of intent outlining what skills/experience they feel they are missing in terms of stepping confidently into the role of showrunner.
- A nomination/recommendation letter from a primary reference (see list above)
- Names and contact information for 2 other professional references
- Bio and CV
