Creators must apply with the following:

• 2 page pitch document for the original series idea
• Principle character descriptions to be included
• Bio and/or CV outlining your experience
• Letter confirming the project is original and unencumbered
• Brief letter of intent describing what you hope to gain from the program
• Proof of Canadian Citizenship/Landed Immigrant

Writers should understand that they are applying for the opportunity to participate in a UK/Canada Co-Production Story Department and must apply with the following:

• Bio and/or CV
• Brief letter of intent describing what you hope to gain from the program
• Reference letter(s)
• Proof of Canadian or UK Citizenship/Landed Immigrant

Only short listed creators and writers would be asked for writing samples, if necessary.

APPLICATION/SELECTION PROCESS

The CFC along with Shaw Media, BBC and BBC Worldwide will shortlist writers and creators for final consideration. This process will be rigorously selective and focus on the creative property and the extent to which an individual has a solid track record within the TV industry.
