The CFC’s Canada-UK Script Incubation Program is designed to create a new level of collaboration between Canada’s best writers and their UK based peers, the BBC, BBC Worldwide and Shaw Media.

This program offers a unique opportunity for experienced TV writers from both the UK and Canada to, alongside broadcasters, develop and workshop two new high concept series within an international co-production framework.  Designed to provide writers with extraordinary access to broadcast and distribution partners, this UK/Canada creative, cultural and business exchange is also intended to advance international professional relationships and opportunities and help broker an actual international co-pro treaty series deal or two. 

The Program will accept a maximum of 1 UK and 1 Canadian Creator each with an original 1 hour drama series concept along with 2 UK and 2 Canadian writers. Together, they form a truly CDN/UK international story department to workshop and help develop the 2 series.
