Prime Time Story Room series ORPHAN BLACK, developed by 2008 Executive Producer in Residence Graeme Manson, along with the 2008 Prime Time program residents, has been picked up by Bell Media’s SPACE. The first 10-episode season of the series, produced by Temple Street Productions, is now airing on SPACE, BBC America and BBC Worldwide.
The five-month Bell Media Prime Time TV Program provides a team-based approach to TV series development for writers. With an enviable reputation for its delivery of excellent training and quality project development, Prime Time aids residents in mastering the tools required for: working in a story department, developing dramatic series material, and surviving as a successful writer in the television marketplace. National and international broadcaster and network guests provide real exposure to practical issues such as programming, advertising, production realities, casting and other pragmatic concerns.
Prime Time Story Room series HEMLOCK, developed by 2010 Executive Producer in residence Peter Mitchell, along with the 2010 Prime Time program residents, is in development with the CBC and is being produced by Shaftesbury Films.
