A customized development and production experience, the TV Pilot Program is looking to take advantage of the relatively newfound viability of online video distribution by using the web as a means of showcasing Pilot Program talent and projects to the largest possible audience.  The Program works with emerging showrunners to develop and produce a unique pilot consisting up to six 5-minute webisodes (max 30 minutes in total).  The CFC provides support, training and mentors at every stage of the process and launches these pilots with a solid online strategy.

The CFC posts the Pilots on a professionally produced project specific website and implements a comprehensive marketing campaign in order to promote the TV Pilot Program, the show, and the skills of the cast and crew who contributed to the productions.

MY PAL SATAN and SETH ON SURVIVAL

The CFC web series pilots My Pal Satan and Seth on Survival have achieved enormous success and garnered many accolades from both the online and television communities.  

My Pal Satan was the recipient of two New York Television Festival awards, for Best Web Series Pilot and Best Theme Song, and has been nominated for a 2010 Gemini award for Best Original Program or Series Produced for Digital Media. The pilot also received Banff World Television Festival Award, Leo Award and WGC Screenwriting Award nominations.

Seth on Survival was recently fêted at the Los Angeles Web Series Festival, where it won for Outstanding Achievement in a Comedy Series. The series’ unique interactive online presence has also led to a Streamy Award nomination for Best Mobile Experience in a Web Series.
